Illinois Radon Policy Taskforce
A collaborative effort to enact reasonable policies to protect Illinoisans from radioactive radon.

The Mission
These volunteers work together, whenever policy change opportunities arise, to reduce the number of deaths each year from radioactive radon by extending awareness and reasonable policy protections.
Members
The Taskforce has members from the radon industry, health organizations, affected organizations and concerned citizens. The Taskforce works in coordination with these organizations.
Activities
Most the Taskforce’s efforts include phone calling and emailing to policy makers and potential affiliates, as well as organizing, researching and making collateral materials. Sometimes members have occasion to visit policy makers, especially those in the Illinois General Assembly.
